In this 2D action-packed shooter, you take on the role of a ruling king defending your realm from waves of invading knights. As you fend off enemies, you'll gather gold to unlock new upgrades to strengthening your defenses and abilities. Survive the onslaught, upgrade your base, and prove your might as the ultimate protector of The Goblin Kingdom!
As part of a three-person team, I played a key role in developing this game. I took lead in organizing large parts of the planning and preparation, ensuring a solid grounds for the project. My contributions included designing the environmental layout including the kingdom, implementing the NPC and conversation system, and actively supporting overall game development. The game is nearing completion and has received praise from testers for its engaging gameplay and design.
In this 2D pixel art side-scroller, you play as a skilled swordsman on a mission to clear a treacherous cave overrun with monsters. Armed with your trusty sword, you'll slash through waves of slimes, skeletons, and other creatures as you journey deeper to face the ultimate boss.
This game was one of my first solo projects for class, where I learned the fundamentals of using Unity and C#. By leveraging assets from the Unity Asset Store and applying the skills I gained in class, I was able to create a polished and engaging 2D game. This project provided invaluable hands-on experience and a solid foundation for my game development journey.
In Dangerous Send, you're behind the wheel after a long day, but your phone keeps buzzing with texts. This intense multitasking game challenges you to stay focused on the road while deciding whether to risk replying. Can you keep your eyes on the road and make it home safely while responding to texts, or will it lead to disaster?
This is the first solo game I've developed outside of class, and it holds personal significance as I’ve always felt strongly about raising awareness of the risks of texting and driving. Although this game is still in the early stages of development, I am committed to seeing it through to completion. In this project, I focused on learning how to integrate full keyboard functionality for on-screen texting, all while maintaining an intense and immersive experience where players must stay aware of their surroundings and act quickly to avoid disaster.
